Oh man are we tired! We spent the last five days getting our house staged and ready to put on the market. We stayed up until about 1:30 last night finishing up all of our little projects... then we woke up at 5:25 to catch our 8am flight to San Diego. I just took a much needed nap and I feel much better! Not to mention that San Diego is sunny and about 70 degrees :).
Without further ado.. the fruits of our labor:
Staging the house was so fun! I tried to tone everything down, and eliminate as much clutter as possible.
I love the way this simple arrangement turned out.
I bought some pretty blue napkins to offset the black and white in the dining room.
We rearranged our bedroom furniture and put the "H" on the wall.
Nothing new in the nursery...
We turned the upstairs office into a cozy kids room. It would've been fun to paint the walls and add a cute lantern lamp that hangs from the ceiling, but we're just trying to sell our home, not win decorating awards. It was really hard for me to reign myself in and not be a perfectionist.
I took a lot of stuff off of the bookshelves... AND you can see a sneak peek at the old sewing room which is now an office/art room. I LOVE it.
I stole a bunch of ideas from a page I tore out from a Pottery Barn catalogue a long time ago. I knew it would come in handy!
Nothing else is new..
We're excited to see what kind of interest we get in our home. We think it's pretty special :)
beautiful home! I would totally buy it if I lived there. :)
