I spent some of my birthday money (thanks mom!) on a couple of sewing patterns.
This is one that I'm saving for a rainy day... or maybe a day when Lucy starts taking longer naps. I've had my eye on it for a long time, and I finally decided to make my purchase. It looks pretty involved, but oh so cute! I haven't picked out the fabric for it yet, but it will sure be fun.
Addendum...
Just so it's clear, I bought the pattern
here at The Sugar City Shop. They didn't have any frock patterns available yesterday when I posted this blog, but they're in stock now! Happy shopping!
That frock is amazing! I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job of creating it for Lucy. What a typical "mom" thing for you to pick for your birthday! Something for YOU and for your little one! They teach us so much about love and living for more than for ourselves, don't they? Enjoy your birthday gift!
ReplyDeleteTHAT is exactly what I was looking for for my daughter Catherine. She and I went and picked out super cute fabrics but I just couldn't find a pattern I liked... THAT IS IT! Where oh WHERE did you get it?! Hope you had a HAPPY birthday!
ReplyDeleteI've had my eye on that pattern, too. I think you've inspired me to purchase it. Last time I tried it sold out!
