Dave's One Request...

... for the nursery was a lava lamp. It doesn't exactly fit the overall aesthetic of the room, but I figured I'd oblige since he let me pick out everything else. He chose a pink one from Target, and he's already spent a significant amount of time being mesmerized by the little mutating blobs.

Dave LOVES lava lamps. I actually almost bought one for him for Christmas last year. There were several in the studio when we were recording, and I'd always catch him staring blankly at the pretty shapes. I think Lucy will like looking at lava too :)


By the way.. the side table is new too (it's also from Target). I like how the natural wood ties in with the branch/nature theme.
