I'm In LOVE

Awhile back I made this changing mat for lucy and blogged about the process.

Since then, I've kept my eye out for pretty oilcloth to make another changing mat, or possibly a bib or two for lucy. I have a bib for her that's wipeable and has a little pocket at the bottom to catch slippery food :). Ours kind-of looks like this one...

But I would LOVE to make one with pretty oilcloth! Imagine my delight when I ran across this post by Anna Marie Horner. Look at HOW BEAUTIFUL this fabric is!!!!
It's $17.50 per yard, so I'll have to decide just how much a love it :).

  3. I find this so funny. I also just discovered you on KLOVE a couple of days ago. Your songs are amazing! I've went onto YouTube and have heard more. I love what I hear! And I have also been inspired by you and wrote on my blog (www.clutehomestead.blogspot.com). It is an entry called Love You. I am passing your music along to whoever will listen. You and your family are a wonderful blessing to me! Just wanted to thank you so very, very much. You have blessed many by your love of Jesus.

  8. Well, I don't know if you have heard of it, but you could also use iron-on vinyl. It turns whatever fabric you choose into a wipe-off-able material. I've made bibs putting the vinyl over the fabric, and then adding snaps on the bottom corners and around the sides to create a pocket to catch the food. It's way easy and super cute!!

    ... just fyi. :-)

  9. FYI -- they make some in Amy Butler's Love collection too. They have it at my local quilt shop. I'd be happy to pick some up for you if you'd like... just email me. :)
