I love the look of embroidery, and I wanted to try to teach myself how to do it. This is my first attempt. It's far from perfect, but I think it turned out pretty cute. See how much Lucy likes it?
Awe! That's really cute. Funny title though - My husband and I are expecting our first - and her name is Lucy Bea (like Aunt Bea from Andy Griffith). Bea means blessed.
I live in a ranch style home with my wonderful husband, Dave and my beautiful little Lucy Love. My favorite things are songwriting, sewing simple projects, and trying to make my house look beautiful. I'm trying to be more bold with color and pattern, and I'm loving every minute of it.

I think you did a great job! It's artist and if it looked "perfect" I don't think it would be as cute. :)
I love it!!
