Cheap?

I would love to find a shower curtain rod like this one to replace our old one. The one in the photo is from Restoration Hardware and costs about $130... fairly ridiculous for a metal stick. Does anyone know where I can find a similar one for less than $30? I'd love a more permanent looking one that screws into the wall.

I know we have one we purchased at Target. It doesn't screw into the wall though but it was cheaper. The metal does rust over time and in the last three years we've had to replace it once. But if the $130 one rusted, that would really be a bummer. And you'd have to screw it in again.

Don't know if this helped much or not (:

Hey jj

I happened to be looking online through Ikea, and came across this shower rod...although it doesnt screw into the wall..for 19 bucks you can't go wrong, and it looks very similar to the one in restoration. Here is the link if you are interested..hope it helps :)

That IS really similar. Thanks for passing that along. I wish we had an Ikea close by... the nearest one is about 4 hours away! We're gonna have to go in a few months to get a bunch of baby stuff, so if we haven't found a curtain rod by then, we'll totally buy the ikea one!

Thats a bummer that it is so far away...but it is a really good place to find fun pieces for your home, so sometimes it may be worth the 4 hour drive...SOMETIMES (aka baby buisiness). Glad I could help :)
