D.C.

The Heller family just got back from a lovely trip to Baltimore and the Washington D.C. area. It was surreal to be there. It brought me back to my 8th grade Washington D.C. trip.

We took a cold walk around the capital building...

And checked out Union Station...

Dave's Uncle Jim got to meet Lucy for the first time...

We had to bundle her up because Baltimore was still quite chilly. Doesn't she look pretty in pink?

She is a BEAUTY!!! I am SO SO SO sad I won't be able to make the show next week. This is the closest you've ever been to Philadelphia and I would love to come down and see you, but I am a director of a play and opening night is the next day so I can't miss....However, I'm still glad to know you are making your way east! We LOVE LOVE LOVE you over here!!! :)

I think we went to Union Station with the Weitzens when they were just redoing it. Maybe David remembers ...

while you were in DC we left Virginia and headed to Nashville. Dang, we just missed one another. Otherwise we could have come to say hello to you while in DC. Maybe another time!
