Itty Bitty Dress

I used some birthday money to buy a pattern for this sweet little dress, and it's so great! It's quick and simple and only requires a small bit of fabric and some 1/4 inch elastic. I've made two so far. The one in the photo is made from a sheet that I bought from Saver's (I bought so many awesome sheets and pillowcases from there to use as fabric!). I love how it looks with little leggings (I'm totally obsessed with leggings on her, by the way).

Please ignore the giant crease down the middle :).

You could probably make several out of pillowcases. It looks to be the right amount of fabric. Vintage pillowcases with the embroidery would be so pretty.

Boy, I miss the days when my dd was little enough to make her dresses out of pillowcases. I even used to make her pants out of adult shirt sleeves!

PS. She never did get big enough to stop wearing leggings.

Too too cute! Listened to your KLOVE interview by the way, and loved it. It's so fun finally hearing you on the radio. I remember when you used to come play for us at ASU Campus Crusade. I still love your Songs That I Know album to pieces, though everything else since then has been just as wonderful! Very much in love with Your Hands right now. Ok, this totally veered away from the adorable little dress, but I just had to tell you how much I appreciate your music and how happy I am that you are finally becoming more publicly recognized.

God Bless and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
