Worth The Wait

I bought this cute little table at a yard sale for $5 almost a year ago.
I've been meaning to do something about the top since I bought it, but I FINALLY made it pretty!
I found some wrapping paper at Target that I knew would be perfect. I had Dave pour on the epoxy (sorry I forgot to write down what we used! I got it at hobby lobby next to the craft paints and it came in a box with two little bottles of chemicals to mix together). I figured it wasn't a good idea for this pregnant lady to do it since it had all sorts of warnings on the box about toxins.
And here it is!
Much improved.

It would also be cute with a changing pad on top and cute little baskets underneath .. used as a diaper changing table/station! :) Looks great!

Sarah, I was thinking the same thing. When I saw the first pic I figured that is what she was planning to use it for. All in all you and your hubby are very talented JJ:)

Sarah and Kristin, wouldn't it be a bit low for a changing table, though?

JJ - I love it! Reading your blog gives me so many ideas for when I get my own house. Glad you had Dave pour on the epoxy because, yeah, probably not a good idea for you to be reathing it in. I hope you are feeling well.

This is very economical way to re transform old things into new one. Just like this small table. After a little renovation it has totally changed in look.
