This new-born sized sweatshirt might be my new favorite :). I got to use my new Amy Butler fabric that I bought in New Hampshire, and a small bit of felt that I bought for a different project.

I haven't read your posts for a while, JJ, so I've been catching up tonight. I love all your designs for the onesies, and the hoodie is absolutely adorable. Why weren't you around when David was a baby? Oh, I know... you were a baby, too!
JJ! it's sooo sooo sooossoooooooo cute!!! it would have been darling with just one layer of fabric... BUT I LOVE the layering you did... you have such an imagination... and are sooo creative... keep creating...
Do you make them in adult sized? ;-)
JJ, what a joy! I just happened upon your blog after reading Sarah's and noticing a familiar name in the blog list on her page. Sarah's right, don't you have enough that you are good at? You are seriously gifted. I am thrilled that you share my love for sewing. We will have to compare projects. Well, I guess I already get to see all of yours... I love catching up with you. It's like I am sitting in Sarah's living room or around my old dining room table on Elizabeth. Keep at it, I am fascinated.
Sarah Miller!!! I just read the comment you left on Sarah S's blog, and I want to see photos of your house too :). Thanks for checking out my little projects. I never thought I'd sew this much, but I just can't help myself these days! There are so many possibilities for cute things... that are so simple to make.
I so get that. My husband will tell you that I can get obsessed. Last spring I made something like 30 tote bags of all colors, sizes and purposes. I gave every last one away. Christmas I made 10 rag quilts. I see endless opporutnity in making things. I get giddy at the prospect of a new cute project. Yey!! I really can't wait to see what you do next. how did you make that monkey???
Love it...LOVE.
OK, so I've been trolling your archives! I'm stalking you! I LOVE this hoodie. And I LOVE Amy Butler, too. I scored an awesome stash of some fat quarters a while back. It's so fun to see all the creative stuff you've made. I've made mostly little blankets for my babies and bigger quilts for when they turn one. I'm so excited for you to have a baby. And looking at these pictures makes me jealous of all your craftiness! Why don't you live closer now? I don't have many crafty friends and it's always fun to craft together. OK, yeehaw! It's been a treat to get a glimpse into Heller existence as I don't think I've seen you since before I had Stella. Kids, they're a time-suck, you know. A good one, but a time-suck nonetheless. xoxo
Hi! I just bought the cutest fabric the other day and I want to make a zip up hoody for my nephew. So, I've been searching the internet for a pattern. What pattern did you use for this project? It is exactly what I want mine to look like. Thanks!
