Little Orange Shirt

We just got back from California last night, and after putting Lucy to bed, the first thing I did was sew! I've missed sewing so very much this last week and I am excited to be back home so that I can be crafty again.

In the past, when Lucy wore this orange and white striped shirt (below), people didn't know if she was a girl or boy. I recently had the revelation that I could sew on an applique and do my best to throw in a little feminine touch. This project took about 10 minutes and turned out to be pretty cute.

My model was VERY squirmy, so this is the best photo I could manage (runny nose and all!).

I love the orange shirt with or without the applique but it's sooo cute! And, of course, so is your model! ;)

I end up doing the same for Lily, but by hand.
Any tips for maneuvering the onsies on the dreaded machine?

I love how crafty you are. Have you ever looked at http://www.etsy.com/ ? They are pretty pricey but it could give you more ideas or you could even SELL stuff on there!!

I think it's funny that my word verification is "somake" haha.

SO cute!! The shirt AND the model are adorable - even with the runny nose (and I totally feel ya there!) :)
