Nursery News

At my shower in San Jose, an old family friend gave us this very cool, very detailed banner that she made just for us! There are spots to attach photos of Lucy as she grows each month. What a thoughtful gift! I hung it up yesterday.

I FINALLY finished working on the bumper pad. I got a little discouraged halfway through the process when I saw one at Target that was almost exactly like the one I was making. I almost abandoned my project to buy the pre-made one, but I decided to stick it out. I'm glad I did, because it turned out pretty cute.

The nursery is so simple yet elegant! Everything looks so invitingly soft and comfy. Knowing you, creating something for Lucy with your own hands will always bring you greater joy than buying something that was not made with love. Our own little, Lucy Love, is all you need now to make that room complete!

What a cool way to show Lucy's growth each month! Very cute.
And the bumper looks perfect! I really love the fabrics you used for the crib, very inviting and calm.

I'm so excited to have found your blog and to have it bookmarked in my toolbar! :) Would you be able to ask your friend for a link or instructions on how she made the banner for Lucy? That would be amazing! Blessings to you and your family!!!
