Sewing Date
My friend, Carol, and I have been getting together to sew once a week for the last 3 weeks and I love it!!!! Last night we spent several hours sewing, cooking and talking. It was wonderful. Carol has such a lovely home that makes it easy to feel creative. Please notice her amazing decorating skills :)... you have to look beyond the virtual explosion of all things sewing.

I love it!! Thank you for being such a sharing, lovely friend to Carol. I'm glad to know your sewing times are special to you as they are to her - what a blessing your friendship is! It's the cool kind of thing that makes a mom say "Thank you dear God for that gift to my daughter!" You both have such a creative talent and you're using it to encourage and spur each other on! Mommy-in-law Phillips has to jump in as well! I love keeping up on my daughter-in-law and grandson through Carol's blogs. I am so proud of her and just love that she has a friend to sew with and that the two of you make a special night to spend creative time together. God is good!!!!
